AC: Sold Out Push Down & Hide — spring update: faster re-sorts and a clearer activity log.

By the Appcado team3 min read

This update is about trust: making the app faster, and making it easier to see exactly what it did to your store. Both changes are live for all plans, including Free.

Faster re-sorts on large catalogs

Re-sorts now batch inventory events per collection instead of processing them one by one. On catalogs near the Business-plan ceiling — 7500 products across 300 collections — a full re-sort that previously took several minutes now completes in under 60 seconds. Small stores were already fast; the gain shows up as catalogs grow.

A clearer activity log

  • See every action as a row: product, collection, what changed, and the inventory event that triggered it.
  • Filter by collection or action type — pushed down, hidden, restored, tagged.
  • Check timestamps at a glance; entries read relative, like "re-sorted 4 minutes ago".

The log answers the question merchants actually ask of automation: what did you just do? Every push-down, hide, restore and tag is accounted for, and every action remains reversible.

Already installed
No action needed — both improvements are live on your store. New here? The Free plan covers stores up to 100 products.

Next on the roadmap is per-collection rules — different treatments for different parts of the catalog. If you want early access, write to us through the contact page.
